Hello, everyone! This time's recipe is Swedish meatball, I made this recipe because I tried it that time when I visited IKEA to buy furniture. And, yes, it tastes delicious. For those of you who don't know, IKEA is a place to sell furniture, but they sell Swedish dishes to introduce to the general public. Back to the ikea's Swedish meatball, let's agree that ikea made this dish popular.

The recipe that I made is a home version that you can make at home to serve to friends and family, this Swedish meatball recipe is easy to follow and the ingredients are very easy to get in supermarkets.

The texture of the meatballs is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cornstarch and bread crumbs gave this Swedish meatball a satisfying crunch. Also, it has a fantastic flavour.

Both the sauce and the meat are incredibly rich and delectable. With the addition of milk, the sauce for these Swedish meatballs becomes very creamy, making it an ideal complement to the savoury meatballs.

In order to complement the meal, I prepare tasty and silky mashed potatoes. You can substitute french fries for the mashed potatoes if you want.

Notes: When you make the mashed potato, cut the potato into small sizes around thumb sizes to make the potato soft quickly.

  5. Get a pan and heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs, and flip over time to avoid burning the outside for 2-3 minutes and set aside.

Making the Mashed Potato

  1. Get a potato, peel out the skin and wash it. Cut it into small pieces around thumb sizes.

  2. Boil water and put in the potato. With a small size of potato, it takes 13-14 until the potato is soft enough.

  3. Put a tablespoon of all-purpose flour, keep stirring it until thickens.
  4. Pour the milk, add salt and pepper, and add the meatballs. Keep stirring it evenly. This part is very important, cook for only 1-2 minutes because the milk is easy to get thickens. We want the sauce a bit thick but not too dry.
