As may you know, Spaghetti is one type of pasta that originated in Italy. There are fun facts about spaghetti. Firstly, spaghetti comes from the Italian word "spaghetto" meaning thin string or twine. Secondly, January 4th is National Spaghetti Day in the United States.

There are several reasons why spaghetti is popular compared to other types of pasta: spaghetti is relatively cheap, delicious, and nutritious. Besides that, spaghetti is easy to combine with other ingredients such as cheese, butter, chicken, beef, etc.

Spaghetti is my favourite pasta compared to other types of pasta. In this recipe, I will share the recipe of Spicy Chicken Spaghetti. I made this Spicy chicken spaghetti because I want to explore a different type of spaghetti aside from bolognese sauce or carbonara sauce. Spiciness always makes food taste better to me, so adding it to the spaghetti was a great idea.

For the spicy taste in this spaghetti recipe, I use a combination of red chillies, garlic and tomatoes. The function of the tomato is to balance the taste and reduce the spiciness. Then I also add lime leaves and lemon juice to add sourness. The overall taste is spicy and sour. This taste combination is very good and suitable for spicy food lovers.

For the topping, I use chicken breast which is seasoned with sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce. The sauce makes the taste savoury and sweet, so when eaten with spicy spaghetti it will be very tasty. For the chicken, I cut them into small squares so that it is easy to eat and mix well with the spaghetti when served.

This recipe is made for 2 servings. You can have it for lunch or dinner. You can also share it with your loved ones or friends.

In conclusion, if you’re a spicy food lover. You must try this Spicy Chicken Spaghetti recipe. Happy cooking!

Additional Notes from Author:

  • We add cooking oil and salt when boiling pasta to prevent the sauce from sticking to the pasta and give a little bit of salty flavour.
  • If you really like spicy, you can add more chillies.
