Chicken Cordon Bleu is an international dish originating from Switzerland. This dish is a breaded chicken breast filled with smoked beef and cheese.

For the cheese, I use cheddar cheese, for the original recipe usually uses Swiss cheese. If you find it difficult to find Swiss cheese, you can also replace it with mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese. If you use mozarella cheese it will be easy to melt and stringy, if you use cheddar cheese it will make the cheese more firm and stay inside. However, using Swiss cheese makes the Chicken Cordon Bleu feel like the original one.

For the sauce, I use a simple sauce which is white sauce. White sauce is made of butter and milk. It's creamy and tasty which very suitable for the Chicken Cordon bleu. The fried chicken tastes savoury meanwhile the white sauce tastes creamy and rich. It will taste so delicious and enhance the taste if you eat the fried chicken with the white sauce.

Chicken Cordon Bleu is best accompanied by French fries, creamy mashed potatoes or rice.
